Starters & Alternators
A starter is an electric motor that rotates the internal combustion engine to cause the engine to start. It uses electrical energy from the car’s battery to start the crankshaft turn which gets your car moving. Alternators, on the other hand, charges the car battery when the engine is running. It powers your vehicle’s engine fan, headlights, ignition coils, parts of the fuel injection system, air conditioning system, radio, and many others.
